Treatment 01

Intra-Oral Massage

What it is.Intra-oral massage is specialized work with certain muscles from inside the mouth, using appropriate professional hygiene and treatment protocols. Lisa received her Washington State Intra-Oral Endorsement in 2014 and has years of clinical experience incorporating this technique into customized treatment.

Why someone might seek it.Clients often seek intra-oral work for support with TMJ/TMD, jaw tension, clenching, grinding, clicking, facial tension, migraines, tension headaches and neck-related tension.

TMJ + Jaw-Focused Bodywork

What it is.TMJ + jaw-focused bodywork is individualized manual therapy centered on the jaw joint and the muscles surrounding it, while considering related structures of the head, neck and upper body.

Why someone might seek it.People seek jaw-focused care for TMJ/TMD-related discomfort, clicking, limited opening, clenching, grinding, headaches and facial tension.

Fascia Decompression

What it is.Fascia is a continuous network of connective tissue throughout the body. Lisa describes herself as a Fascia Decompression Specialist. Her approach uses gentle techniques intended to lift and decompress restricted tissues, create space and support healthier movement.

Why someone might seek it.Clients seek fascia decompression for chronic restriction, postural tension, feeling compressed and limited-feeling mobility.

Anterior Neck Therapy

What it is.The front and sides of the neck contain complex muscular structures involved in head position, jaw function, swallowing, movement and posture. Lisa provides precise, gentle, individualized treatment in this area.

Treatment 05

Diaphragm + Rib Release

What it is.The rib cage and diaphragm play important roles in breathing, posture and movement throughout the torso. When the upper body feels compressed, areas including the ribs, shoulders, neck and surrounding tissues may also feel restricted. Lisa may incorporate specialized diaphragm and rib release techniques into treatment when appropriate.

Why someone might seek it.Clients seek this work for a sense of compression through the torso, shallow-feeling breathing and tension across the ribs and upper back.

Glass Facial Cupping

What it is.Facial cupping uses small specialized glass cups that glide gently across the skin. Unlike traditional stationary body cupping, the intention is not to create dark marks. Lisa may incorporate facial cupping as part of a therapeutic session to support muscular relaxation, circulation, lymphatic movement, relief from facial tightness and a restorative treatment experience.
